Leap of Faith

So we are starting week number two without television in our homes. No need to check your eyes. They are just fine, I did say no television in our homes.  For those of you who may have just started following us, my three siblings and I have given up TV for the year and we are blogging about its impact on our lives.  The prior posts really are quite comical so I would encourage you to read them when you have time, but that gets you caught up enough to read today's post effectively.  Week number one included some ahh so cute moments, some funny ones and some that were just down right dangerous.  It really was action packed more so than your average half hour sitcom!  Week number two is starting off with some very exciting news!  I have been asked to do a weekly summary of our NO TV challenge and send it to the Muskegon Chronicle's on-line news source (a section of M-live!!!)  I received the call from the Chronicle Saturday and they wanted it to start Monday (as in today) so I had to take a leap of faith with this one (good thing I am naturally a bit crazy which you can read about in more details in past posts) because otherwise it may have stressed me out.  I decided to go for it! I will technically be a blogger for the Chronicle, but the lady with the Chronicle also said she feels this will be more like having my own column!  How cool is that?  I may become a writer yet! The best part is there will be a link on M-live to get the full story from our blog here so we may become famous yet like Rebel predicted when I pitched this crazy idea to him!  Stay tuned for the rest of our wild adventures and thanks for taking the time to read about us!
